Marriages and Civil Unions

Marriages / Civil Union ceremonies  are performed between 11:00 - 11:45 a.m. and 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings at the Will County Courthouse.  Licenses should be obtained at least 24 hours in advance from the Will County Clerk's office.  Once the proper license is obtained through the County Clerk, parties should present themselves at the Office of the Circuit Clerk, located on the 2nd floor of the Will County Courthouse prior to the ceremony.  Additional information may be obtained via the following links:

While cameras are not normally allowed in Court facilities, cameras are allowed exclusively for these ceremonies.  Ceremonies are normally performed in English and parties are responsible for providing their own interpreter if one is necessary.
